Who is eligible for bulk billed telehealth appointments?

We bulk bill all appointments.

You must have a current Medicare card and be eligible to book an appointment.

Who is eligible to book a telehealth appointment?

There are four ways you can become eligible to book a telehealth appointment:

  1. Have attended an in-person Onboarding Appointment once in the last 12 months

  2. Be booking an appointment for treatment of one of the conditions that are eligible for Skip Onboarding

  3. Live in a location impacted by a natural disaster

  4. Have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 7 days

1. Attend an in-person Onboarding Appointment

You can attend one of our locations for a bulk billed in-person onboarding appointment. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and create a health profile that our telehealth GPs can refer to when seeing you for telehealth consults.

In-person onboarding appointments are currently available in Broken Hill and Menindee.

2. Eligible conditions for Skip Onboarding

If you want to speak to a doctor about any of the following conditions, you are eligible to Skip Onboarding and instantly book an appointment:

  • Mental health - you can get a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) to see a psychologist or psychiatrist, as well as medication to improve your mental health.

  • Sexual health - anything sexual health related, including prescriptions to treat STIs and pathology referrals for STI screening.

  • Women's health - contraception, menstrual Issues, menopause management and the ability to have a safe and satisfying sex life. The ability to have a child and have a healthy pregnancy, safe delivery and healthy baby.

  • Men's health - issues related to sexual dysfunction, such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and difficulties with sexual arousal or orgasm

3. Location impacted by natural disaster

If you live in a location where a natural disaster has impacted you, you are eligible to skip onboarding and instantly book a video or phone appointment for health matters. This includes medical certificates, prescriptions, specialist referrals and blood tests.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 7 days, you can book a video or phone consultation with a GP for any health matter.

This includes medical certificates, prescriptions, specialist referrals and blood tests.

You may have tested positive at home with a RAT or a PCR.
